of advanced mathematics, for science and technical careers
and for post-secondary study in all content areas.

Sense
Count orally to 100.

Use manipulatives to solve simple addition
and subtraction facts to 10.

Match a number set to 10.
Compare two number sets. Know which set has
more objects and which sets have less.

Sort objects (same/different) using attributes
such as: size/color.
Measurement
and Geometry
Identify time to the nearest hour.
Identify tools to measure time (clock, calendar).
Identify and compare common geometric objects
(circle, square, triangle, rectangle, cube,
sphere, and cone).
Name the days of the week.
Statistics,
Data Analysis, and Probability
Interpret and complete a graph using objects
or pictures.
Identify and extend simple patterns with 2
elements or more.
Mathematical
Reasoning
Make decisions about how to solve problems.
Model story problems using concrete objects.
