  One of the advantages of being a homeschooler is the ease of using your community resources. There are so many things to see and places to go. Visit some of these places to enhance your lessons.

  Check with the Chamber of Commerce, the Yellow Pages, the events section of the local newspaper and weekly publications, as well as your resource teacher and other parents for specific ideas. Preparation and follow-up are essential.
