State regulations for home independent study require that attendance records and grade transcripts be supported by assignment sheets and samples of
student work selected by the credentialed teacher. Resource teachers must be able to personally verify that students have completed the minimum state-required hours of approved educational activities each week.
  
  In order to fulfill these requirements, parents need to:
Provide the student with the necessary assistance and instruction for completing assignments on a daily basis.

Correct all completed work on a daily basis.
Provide your resource teacher with a daily record of all educational activities and keep all completed, corrected student work for review.
Keep regularly scheduled appointments with your resource teacher.
